Working dinner with lay and clerical representatives from Western Pannonia
President of Hungary Tamás Sulyok attended a working dinner with lay and ecclesiastical leaders from Western Pannonia.
The participants of the working dinner discussed possibilities of collaboration for the development of the region, as well as - in the spirit of ecumenism - religious and faith issues.
Those who contributed their valuable ideas to an effective exchange of views: Béla Básthy, Mayor of Kőszeg; Ciprián Farkas, Mayor of Sopron; András Nemény, Mayor of Szombathely; József Cseri, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vas County; Vince Kovács, former President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vas County, and, in the spirit of ecumenism: Csaba Baranyay, Pastor of the Lutheran Church; Zsuzsanna Kisantal, Pastor of the Reformed Church; Judit Sugár, President of the Jewish Community of Szombathely; János Székely, Roman Catholic Bishop.
Tamás Sulyok thanked his guests for sharing with him the problems, troubles, successes, achievements and goals of the communities and municipalities they lead.
