Statement by Sándor Palace on the Hunnia case
Today, President of Hungary Katalin Novák - after hearing the request for clemency by complainant Sándor Csintalan - made a decision on the request for clemency presented by the last three individuals involved in the so-called Hunnia case.
The decision to suspend imprisonment does not affect the question of guilt. On the disqualification from public office, the Head of State rejected the applications. Today's pardon decision brings the 15-year-long Hunnia case to a close.
