Presidential meeting with the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta

Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, met with Fra’ John Dunlap, Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, in Rome. The Order has been present in Hungary for centuries.

The Head of State commended the charitable work of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, continuously offering its support in Hungary since 1989, and emphasized that the charity has been playing a decisive role for decades in providing care to those in need. The organisation has also provided outstanding support to refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine since the war began.
