Katalin Novák met with the President of the European Commission at the World Economic Forum
Katalin Novák held talks with the President of the European Commission at the Davos World Economic Forum. The President gave an account of the meeting on her social media page on Tuesday.
We had to discuss many challenging issues with Ursula von der Leyen- wrote the President. She added that the focus of the discussion was on Hungarian youth and the Erasmus+ program.
Katalin Novák stated: "I trust that Hungarian students will not be deprived of the opportunities for studying abroad in the future."
The President will participate in the panel discussion titled Defending Europe's United Front on Wednesday morning, as announced by Sándor Palace to MTI. The panel discussion will focus on European defence cooperation and NATO expansion.
Alongside the Hungarian President, Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland; Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Belarusian political activist and former presidential candidate in the 2020 election; and Andrej Plenkovic, the Prime Minister of Croatia, will also take part in the panel discussion. The event will be moderated by Roula Khalaf, the editor of the British newspaper Financial Times.
