Katalin Novák held discussions with the Belgian king about the historical and diplomatic relations between Hungary and Belgium

The Hungarian Head of State met with King Philippe of Belgium during her visit to Brussels at the Royal Palace of Laeken.

According to Katalin Novák, during the meeting - which was held in a cordial atmosphere - in addition to the century-long historical and diplomatic relations between the two countries, they also reviewed the state of the EU trio's preparations for the Presidency.

On the occasion of her visit, the President gifted King Philipppe an original copy of the menu from the engagement dinner of Rudolf, the Austro-Hungarian heir to the throne, and Princess Stefania of Belgium.
