Katalin Novák expressed her condolences to the relatives of the victims of the military helicopter crash

"My sincere condolences to the relatives of the airforcemen who died in the helicopter crash, Hungary stands by you!" – the President of Hungary said. Katalin Novák thanked the Croatian rescue teams for their work and President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic for his support. The President of Croatia expressed his condolences on the telephone. 

On 21 June, the Ministry of Defence announced that two Airbus H145 helicopters of the Hungarian Air Force were carrying out an air training mission in Croatian airspace when one of the helicopters - with three people on board - crashed in central Croatia under currently unclear circumstances. Rescue teams have recovered the wreckage of the helicopter, and during their search they have so far found the bodies of two airforcemen, while the third is still being sought - they wrote.
