Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, acts as the patron of the Athlete of the Year Gala 2024

As the Chief Patron of the Athlete of the Year Gala 2024, the President of Hungary presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to László Bölöni, who was a true legened as a Hungarian footballer in Romania in the 1970s and 1980s, and later during his coaching career discovered young players such as 16-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo. 

In his speech, the Head of State praised the fantastic achievements and successes of Hungary’s athletes and para-athletes, congratulating all the participants.
