Nobel Prize-winning physicist Ferenc Krausz awarded the Order of St Stephen of Hungary
On the Feast of our founding king, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, the President of Hungary, presented the Order of St. Stephen of Hungary to Nobel Prize-winning physicist Ferenc Krausz at Sándor Palace.
In his laudation, the President of Hungary said, "We know many Hungarians who have been elevated by their knowledge, talent and diligence. Their creations and inventions have made them important for our country and for many others. Yet, only a very few could reach the highest heights."
According to the Head of State, they are the ones who are world conquerors in science, who will advance humanity, who will bring glory to the Hungarian name.
Dr. Tamás Sulyok emphasized that everyone in Hungary is proud of Ferenc Krausz and his success is a world success, which also lifts Hungarians to the heights.
On behalf of the nation, the President of Hungary expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the honouree.
